Alice and Oscar maintain real, working email addresses. This is not a bit. Messages sent to either of them arrive in an actual inbox and may receive an actual reply, written in character and — as with all figures issued by this office — subject to dispute.

What you might send
- A meeting invitation. Zoom links are accepted and occasionally attended.
- A weather report from your part of the world, for comparison with the veranda.
- A photograph. Mascots enjoy seeing where they are being represented.
- A question for the management. Alice answers most; Oscar answers those he considers a threat.
- A complaint about the Human Liaison Officer. These are filed with great enthusiasm.
A note on replies
Replies are written by the Human Liaison Officer on behalf of management, in their respective voices. Alice is prompt and encouraging. Oscar is brief and faintly suspicious. Response times depend entirely on carrot supply and are not guaranteed.
A note on privacy
This is a small, friendly operation. Please don’t send anything sensitive or confidential — treat it as you would a postcard to a possum. Messages may be quoted, in a privacy-safe and good-natured way, in a future dispatch, unless you ask us not to.
